This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 4th respondent to complete the disciplinary proceedings pending in C.No.8010/2020/O, dated 05/10/2020 and Charge Sheet No.10/2020 within the time frame fixed by this Court. 2.
The case of the petitioner is that he was working as a Forester in Odugathur Social Forestry Range from the year 2020. A charge memo was issued against the petitioner and disciplinary proceedings were initiated by the 4th respondent. The petitioner submitted his reply and an enquiry officer was also appointed. The petitioner attended the enquiry conducted during the period from January 2021 to April 2022. The petitioner had sought for the copy of certain documents and the same was furnished to the petitioner much later. In any event, the entire enquiry was completed and till date, no Page No.2/5
progress has been made in the disciplinary proceedings initiated against him and hence, left with no other option, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions. 3.
Heard Mr.L.Mouli, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Stalin Abhimanyu, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents.

Taking into consideration the limited relief sought for in this writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the 4th respondent to complete the proceedings and pass a final order within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the 4th respondent along with all relevant documents and also a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
