(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The present petition is filed for accepting the cause-title.

2. Madras Cements Limited is the original writ petitioner. The writ petition is filed in the year 2002. The same is disposed of by order dated 21.01.2022.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the year 2013, the name of the writ petitioner has undergone change and the same is changed to Ramco Cements Limited. However, the change of name of the petitioner company inadvertently could not be brought to the notice of the Court. The petitioner has now assailed the order of the learned Single Judge.

4. It appears that the certificate issued by the Registrar of Companies is annexed along with the compilation of documents, wherein, it transpires that the name of Madras Cements Limited is changed to Ramco Cements Limited in the year 2013.

5. In the light of that, the present application to accept the cause-title is allowed.
