The case of the petitioner is that her father by name R.Ganesan, who was originally working as Office Assistant in the office of the Civil Supplies Corporation, Goundenpalayam Branch, Coimbatore, died on 17.01.2010, while in service. The petitioner's mother was an employee of ESI Corporation and she retired from service during April 2011. When the petitioner approached the respondent Department for compassionate appointment, she was informed that there is another claim for job on compassionate ground, by the legal heirs of one Jamuna Bai, viz. G.Soumya and Saswath, claiming that they are the daughter and son of the petitioner's father. The petitioner states that after contest, the trial Court has now held that the marriage between the petitioner's father and her mother is a valid one and that the petitioner's mother is the legally wedded wife of the late R.Ganesan.

2.With this background, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition, for a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.03.2018 which has been made for providing compassionate appointment to her. 3.Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Special Govt.Pleader, takes notice for the respondent.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 09.03.2018 made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
