O R D E R

The Criminal Appeal has been filed against the order of acquittal passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Saidapet in C.C.No.2198 of 1983 dated 16.06.1997.

2. Today, when the matter was taken-up, the learned counsel appearing for the appellant submits that pending appeal, the sole appellant died on 11.06.2006 and he also filed a memo to that effect.

3.In view of the submission and based on the memo filed by the learned counsel for the appellant, this Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated.
