PRAYER This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to take appropriate action on the basis of the representation dated 03.05.2022 submitted by the Petitioner.

ORDER

The petitioner, President of the Uthukkadu Village Panchayat, Walajabad Panchayat Union, sought a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to take action against the respondents 4 and 5 based on the representation of the petitioner dated 03.05.2022.

2. It is the contention of the petitioner that the respondents 4 and 5 are preventing the panchayat officials from taking any action against a private 2/5

lodge, which was constructed without obtaining proper permission from the competent authority. Despite his representation, no action has been taken so far.

3. The learned Government Advocate (crl. Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that on the petitioner's complaint, current paper enquiry had already been conducted and the same has been closed on 14.03.2023 itself.

4. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is closed. The respondents 1 to 3 are directed to serve the closure report on the petitioner. 20-08-2025 mrp Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes 3/5
