Apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No.375 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Section 4(1)(A) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition (Amendment) Act, the present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking anticipatory bail.

2. Pleading innocence on the part of the petitioner, false implication in the case, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks indulgence of this Court. He further submits that this is the second application for anticipatory bail filed by the petitioner. He also submits that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this court. 3. The case of the prosecution as putforth by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police, opposing for grant of anticipatory bail, is that the accused were found to be in illegal possession of 26 bottles of liquor. He further submits that this Court, taking into consideration the 36 previous cases registered against the petitioner, had dismissed the petitioner's first bail application and there is no change of circumstances.

4. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondent Police and perused the materials available on record and taking note of the facts that the petitioner is habitual offender, having 36 previous cases and there is no change of circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
