ORDER

Seeking a direction to the third respondent herein, the Inspector of Police, Steel Plant Police Station, Erumpalai, Salem District to register the case pertaining to the petitioner complaint dated 17.12.2015 vide C.S.R.No.375/2013 in accordance with law, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.On a reading of the complaint, it appears that the petitioner was running a chit and she had appointed her nephew to collect money from the subscribers. But, he had cheated her. Hence, she is before this Court with this petition.

4.On the contrary, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that there are several complaints against the petitioner herein that she had cheated several subscribers by not returning the amount and in order to protect herself, the present complaint has been preferred by the petitioner for misappropriation of money.

5.In my considered opinion, the Police cannot interfere in the matter of money transaction. Hence, no positive direction as sought for by the petitioner could be granted. 6.In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedies in the manner known to law.
