PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the entire records pertaining to Employment Advertisement of November 2014 issued by the General Manager, Heavy Vehicle Factory, Avadi, the Respondent herein and quash the same as unconstitutional, arbitrary, unreasonable being violative of rules and principles of natural justice and thereby direct the Respondent herein to appoint the petitioner in the post of welder in the permanent regular service of the respondent.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for Certiorarified Mandamus to quash the Employment Advertisement of November 2014 issued by the General Manager, Heavy Vehicle Factory, Avadi and direct the respondent to appoint the petitioner in the post of Welder. 2.
There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 3.
Mr. Venkataswamy Babu, learned counsel representing the respondent is present.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner had filed memo earlier on 24.11.2023 stating that the petitioner has taken away the case records along with change of vakalat. The Petitioner name is being printed in the cause list continuously. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that notice is also served on the petitioner through Court but it was returned as addressee "no such person"

Today, this matter is listed under the caption "for dismissal". Even on an earlier occasion there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It appears that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting this case any more and hence, this writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. Costs made easy.
