Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 29.11.2022 seeking revocation of the suspension by reviewing the suspension order in RC. No.A1/414/2022 dated 31.01.2022 passed by the 2nd respondent within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 29.11.2022, wherein, the petitioner had sought for the revocation of the suspension order passed on 31.01.2022 in line with the relevant Government Order.
2.Heard Mr.G.Balamanikandan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.
3.The grievance of the petitioner is that he was working as a Field Surveyor before the 2nd respondent. Based on a complaint given against him, an FIR came to be registered in Crime No.1 of 2022. The petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 29.01.2022 and an order of suspension came to be passed on 31.01.2022. The petitioner was placed under suspension for more than eleven months and hence, he made a representation to the 2nd respondent on 29.11.2022 seeking for revocation of the suspension in line with the relevant Government Order. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
4.Taking into consideration the limited relief sought in the present writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 29.11.2022 in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction.
