Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.2.2016, consequently direct the respondents to approve the drinking water projects to petitioner's ward No.14, Puduchathiram Panchayat Union, Namakkal District to solve the drinking water problem. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.02.2016.

2. Heard Mr.R.Nithyanandam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Manikandan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. According to the petitioner, she was elected as 14th Union Ward Member, Puduchatiram Panchayat Union. Most of the people in her ward are downtrodden and living in below poverty line and they are suffering due to scarcity of water, during summer season. Hence, the petitioner made several requests https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

before the respondents.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite repeated representations made before the respondents, they have not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the present writ petition.

5. In the light of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition and the grievance expressed by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.2.2016 and take appropriate action, on merits and in accordance with law.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
