O R D E R

Present revision has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the appeal in A.S.No.17 of 2013, pending on the file of the learned Principal District Judge, Thiruvallur within a time frame.

2. Considering the nature of order to be passed in the revision which will in no way cause any prejudice to the respondents, notice to the respondents is dispensed with. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The petitioner has filed the suit for partition. The trial Court passed the preliminary decree on 16.06.2008. Against the said preliminary decree, the respondents, who are the defendants in the suit, filed an appeal in A.S.No.17 of 2013, on the file of the learned Principal District Judge, Tiruvallur. As the appeal is pending for more than seven years, the petitioner has filed the present revision seeking an early disposal of the appeal within a time frame.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer made in the revision, the learned Principal District Judge, Tiruvallur is directed to dispose of the appeal in A.S.No.17 of 2013, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving opportunity to both the parties, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The revision is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
