This application has been filed to direct the 1st respondent/1st defendant to produce stamp paper to the value of Rs.25,000/- for drafting / engrossing final decree.

2. It is the contention of the learned senior counsel for the plaintiffs that the suit has been decreed on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties as early as on 28.04.2023. This Court, on an earlier occasion, directed the Registry to engross the final decree, however, despite several orders passed by this Court, the 1st respondent, by stating some or the other reason, adopting delay in tactics. Despite the deposit made by the plaintiffs, the 1st defendant has not deposited and thereby delay has caused in drafting the final decree. Further, the learned senior counsel for the plaintiffs has deposited a sum of Rs.25,000/- [Rupees twenty five thousand only) for the stamp duty and seeks for a direction to draft the final decree.

3. In such view of the matter, Registry is directed to receive the stamp papers that may be deposited by the plaintiffs on behalf of 1st defendant and engross the final decree and the plaintiffs are entitled to recover the amount from the 1st defendant in the manner known to law.
