O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by petitioner seeking a direction to second respondent to produce the detenu Ragu S/o.Ravi aged about 22 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents 1 and 2 and learned counsel for respondents 3 and 4.

3. The detenu as also the petitioner had earlier appeared before this Court. In keeping with the orders of this Court dated 17.07.2018, both parties have appeared before the Mediation Centre. It is informed that efforts at mediation have failed. The alleged detenu is a major. It is open to him to decide his future course of action. The rights of the petitioner, if any, would have to be established before appropriate forum and through appropriate proceedings.

The Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
