This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide adequate Police protection to the petitioner for putting up a bore well in the property situated in S.No.309/2 at Vinayakar Koil Street, Vetrilaikalipalayam, Kurudampalayam Panchayat, Rakkipalayam Post, Coimbatore - 641 031, by considering the representations dated 17.12.2024 and 19.12.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that he obtained prior permission from the authority for digging bore well and putting up construction. He would further submit that some private parties have no authority to prevent the said legal activity and therefore, he seeks Police protection to put up bore well in the property. 2/5

4. This Court, on perusing the representations of the petitioner and the title documents as well as the payment of requisite fee for digging bore well, satisfied that the petitioner's peaceful enjoyment of the property cannot be prevented by the parties. Hence, the second respondent Police is directed to provide Police protection when the petitioner engages men and material for digging bore well in the said property.

5. with the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
