This petition has been filed seeking modification of the condition imposed on the petitioner to execute two sureties out of whom one must be the wife of the petitioner.

2.At the time of disposal of the Criminal Original Petition seeking bail, the learned counsel for the petitioner falsely represented that the petitioner is married. Hence, this Court vide order dated 27.06.2022 while granting bail to the petitioner modifying the conditions imposed by the Principal District and Sessions Court, Salem in C.M.P.No.4440 of 2021, dated 12.11.2021 directed the petitioner to 'execute two sureties, out of whom one must be the wife of the petitioner'. 3.Now, it is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the said submission is not correct and the petitioner accused was unmarried and hence, the petitioner was not able to provide sureties for all these 1/3

days. Hence, he seeks modification.

4.In such view of the matter, the condition imposed by this Court vide order dated 27.06.2022 is modified as follows: "the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail by executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Mettur." 5.The Registry is directed to carry out necessary correction and issue fresh order copy to the parties concerned. 13.04.2023 ta 2/3
