O R D E R

By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 19.09.2024 within the time stipulated by this Court.

3. According to the petitioner, his father originally acted as Mutawalli of Annangudi Mosque and Burial Ground Waqf, Annangudi Village, K.V.Kuppam Vattam, Vellore District. On 19.09.2024, the members of the above Wakf elected the petitioner and 12 other persons as Members of the Administrative Committee. The said fact was informed to the 1st respondent by a representation dated 19.09.2024 seeking recognition from the 1st respondent. The said representation has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4. Mr.Mohamed Aseef.G, learned Standing Counsel for Wakf, who is taking notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the 2/4

petitioner dated 19.09.2024 will be considered on its own merits and in accordance with law.

5. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.09.2024 and pass final orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
