This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to inspect and survey the land in S.No.792/2 to an extent of 1 acre 67.5 cents at Thyagavalli Village, Cuddalore Taluk based on the petition dated 26.11.2021.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the aforesaid properties. The petitioner had applied https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
for Patta, but it is found that there are variances in old survey map and the present survey map. Therefore, the petitioner had given petition dated 26.11.2021 to resurvey the land, however, no order has been passed. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has paid the necessary charge for measuring the land. Further, he submits that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's petition dated 26.11.2021 and pass orders on the same within a particular time that may be fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Government Advocate has no objection for said order being passed.
5. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's petition dated 26.11.2021 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
