ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to provide adequate police protection to enable the petitioner to make a fence on his land in Survey No.215/1, admeasuring approximately one acre which is situated at Singipuram Village of Salem District.

2. When the matter was taken up today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submitted that the complaint given by the petitioner to the Chief Minister Cell in 16831459/2025 has been forwarded to the first respondent and that after enquiry, the said complaint has been closed as the petitioner had given in writing that he will resolve the dispute in the presence of the elders in his village.

3. Recording the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent, this Writ Petition Criminal is closed. However, it is made clear that in the event of there being any law and order problem, the first respondent is directed to take appropriate action. 20-01-2026
