The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 11.08.2023 for the offences registered under Sections 342,366,354(A), 376(2) (1) of I.P.C and Section 92(d) of the Rights of Persons with disabilities Act, 2016 in Crime No.75 of 2023, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.

2. It is stated that the victim is a mentally retarded person and she is the sister of the defacto complainant. Let me not enter into the facts of the case in detail, since it is stated that the final report had been taken cognizance by the Sessions Judge, Mahalir Neethi Mandram at Villupuram. Let the victim and the defacto complainant be cross examined and then the application seeking bail can be considered. As on date both the victim and the defacto complainant are vulnerable witnesses.
