(for RR1 & 2) Mr.K.Thangavelu (for R3) o R D E R The petitioner has come forward this writ petition to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to provide water supply line for the petitioner's portion at No.7, 1st Floor, Egambara Nathar Koil Street, Walajapet, Vellore District - 632 513 as claimed in the representations dated 12.06.2017 and 03.11.2017.

The case of the petitioner is that his brother / 3rd respondent herein has totally cut off the water supply connection to the 1st floor, where the petitioner is living with his family members and hence his family members were put to severe hardship. Therefore, the petitioner has given representations to the 2nd respondent on 12.06.2017 and 03.11.2017 to give water connection. As no action was taken by the respondents, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the prayer stated supra.

3. It is represented by the learned counsel for the 3rd respondent that a civil suit is pending between the petitioner and the petitioner will have to vacate the premises.

4. On considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents 1 & 2 to ensure that water supply is restored to the petitioner's premises, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, as water is essential for survival. The restoration of water connection to the petitioner's premises will not give any right to take defence that the Court has approved his contentions. No costs.
