The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 447, 341, 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.482 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 16.11.2022 when the defacto complainant was in the construction site of a bridge near IMA College, Korattur at that time, the petitioner along with other accused persons quarreled with the defacto complainant to stop the construction work and abused him in filthy language and threatened with dire consequences. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner. 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on 16.11.2022 when the defacto complainant was in the construction site of a bridge near IMA College, Korattur at that time, the petitioner along with other accused persons quarreled with the defacto complainant to stop the construction work and abused him in filthy language and threatened with dire consequences. He would further submit that the petitioner is having twenty previous cases.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and he has already involved in twenty previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
