ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondent to provide free house site patta and government employment to legal heirs of the victims who suffered permanent disability and loss of earning capacity, due to the rape, assault, torture application of electrical shock on account of various

inhuman atrocities made by JSTF (Joint Special Task Force).

2. It is the case of the petitioner Foundation is that during the search of Veerappan, the victims were suffered to various kinds of torture, assaults at the hands of Joint Special Task Force and they approached the National Human Rights Commission. The National Human Rights Commission passed orders on 15.01.2007 and issued series of directions and compensation to be paid to the victimes.

3. The learned Additional Advocate General submitted that compensations have already been paid to the victims.

4. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent to implement the order of the National Human Rights Commission, if not already implemented and send a communication to the petitioner within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

6. In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
