ORDER

This Petition has been filed before this Court under the caption "For extension of time" along with the report sent by the learned Additional District Judge and Presiding Officer, Special Court for E.C and NDPS Act cases, Salem, in D.No.1385 of 2024 dated 09.12.2024.

2. It is seen from the records, while disposing the petition in Crl.O.P.No.991 of 2023, this Court by an order dated 19.01.2023, directed the trial Court to complete the trial proceedings, within a period of three months. However, the learned Additional District Judge and Presiding Officer, Special

Court for E.C and NDPS Act cases, Salem, has sent communication dated 09.12.2024 in D.No.1385 of 2024, narrating the sequence of proceedings in Spl.C.C.No.23 of 2023 and sought further period of three months time to complete the trial in the said case.

3. Considering the above facts and circumstances of this case, this Court is inclined to grant three months time to the Trial Court to complete the trial in Spl.C.C.No.23 of 2023 from today.
