.. Respondent Prayer:- Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representations of the petitioner dated 23.12.2014 and 26.11.2014.

By consent, the writ petition is take up for final disposal.
2. In the earlier round of litigations, in W.P.No.15796 of 2013 filed by Vadamugam Vellode Village Panchayat represented by its President, this Court by order dated 24.09.2013, directed the first respondent viz., the District Collector-cum-Inspector of Panchayats, Erode District to look into the irregularities committed by the than President and other members of the Panchayat in granting conversion of the land in question notwithstanding the gift deed executed by the respondents 6 and 7 therein in favour of the local body and with a further direction to pass orders on the representation within a stipulated time. The first respondent therein in compliance of the order, by his proceedings dated 10.06.2014, has directed the local body to consider the issue once again. The respondent sent notice to the respondents 5 to 25 in W.P.No.
15796 of 2013 for recording their statements and since some of them did not respond, granted further opportunity to record their statements on 30.06.2014 and after concluding the enquiry and after recording the statements, passed an order and passed on the said information by marking a copy of the said order. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that thereafter nothing has happened. In this regard, he submitted a representation dated 26.11.
reminder dated 23.12.2014 to the respondent and since he has not been favoured with any response, came forward with this writ petition.
3. Heard Mr.A.Thiagarajan learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Rm.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for respondent.
4. This Court without going into the merits of the representations of the petitioner, directs the respondent to act in terms of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.2807/2012/A4, dated 09.10.2014 and consider the representations of the petitioner dated 26.11.2014 and 23.12.2014, on merits and in accordance with law after putting on notice the respondents 5 to 23 in W.P.No.15796 of 2013 and pass orders as expeditiously as possible, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as the respondents 5 to 23 in W.P.No.15796 of 2013. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
