ORDER

(Heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 430, 379 of IPC, in Crime No.463 of 2019, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had illegally transported 4 units of river sand, without valid licence. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. However, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner had illegally transported 4 units of rivers sand, without valid licence. He further submitted that there are seven previous cases are pending against him hence he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the allegations and the bad antecedent of the petitioner and also the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is essential, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
