O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to pass orders on the enquiry conducted by him pursuant to the proceedings dated 23.11.2016 within a time frame.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the 2nd respondent had already completed the enquiry on 19.01.2017, however, he has not passed any order so far.

3.Mr.S.V.Doraisolaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents submitted that in view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the 2nd respondent may be directed to pass orders on the enquiry conducted by him within six weeks in accordance with law.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to pass orders on the enquiry, which was completed on 19.01.2017 in the proceedings dated 23.11.2016, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
