This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to deal with the application submitted by the petitioners dated 18.10.2024 wherein the petitioners have sought for survey and demarcation of boundaries with respect to the subject property.
2. Heard Mr.S.Raja Guru, learned counsel for petitioners and Mr.S.Jayachandran, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.
3. The petitioners are claiming right over the subject property through a registered sale deed dated 22.04.2024. Thereafter, a joint patta was issued in patta No.954. The petitioners submitted an application seeking for survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case 2/4
and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondents to deal with the application submitted by the petitioners and conduct the survey in the subject property based on the title document and demarcate the boundaries. If there are any rival claims, such survey shall be conducted in their presence. This process shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction.
