This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 25.07.2022 vide C.S.R.No.1605 of 2022 and file a FIR.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation for the petitioner. However, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, FIR in Crime No.88 of 2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 506(1) IPC was registered by the Thirutani Police Station. 3.In view of the above submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court is of the view that nothing survives in this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as not necessary.
