Police production is sought for by the petitioner for herself and her husband.

2. It is seen from records that there is an intercaste marriage between the parties, which took place on 13.12.2018. There is opposition from the parents of the petitioner and there is also potential threat to life and limb of the petitioner and her husband. Therefore, a representation has been given to the respondent police seeking for police protection on the ground that the parents of the petitioner will resort to honour killing. Since this representation has not been considered, the present petition has been filed seeking for police protection.

3. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the second respondent to immediately call the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

parties for an enquiry and instruct the parents and the relatives of the petitioner not to cause threat to the petitioner and her husband and not to interfere with their life. If in spite of instructions, any threat is caused, immediately action shall be taken in accordance with law. If required police protection may also be given to the petitioner and her husband.
