O R D E R

This Court directed the Government to consider the request made by the petitioners for regularisation in the light of the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.151 Home (Citizenship II) Department, dated 22 February 2002.

2. The Government pursuant to the direction given by this Court in W.P.No.30742 of 2012 considered the issue and rejected the claim for regularisation. The Government issued the order in G.O.(D) No.813 Home (Citz.II) Department, dated 16.07.2018 rejecting the request for regularisation.

3. In view of the order dated 16 July 2018, there is no question of keeping this contempt petition pending. It is open to the petitioners to challenge the order dated 16 July 2018, if they are so advised.

4. The contempt petition is closed with the above observation. Consequently, connected Sub-Application is closed.
