Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the land of the petitioner property situated in S.no. 149/6b2 to the extent of 21.26 cents (0.8.61 ares), situated at Thamalerimuthur village and post, Tirupattur taluk, Tirupattur district by considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2024.

O R D E R

Seeking a mandamus to the respondents 1 and 2, to survey the property, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. The petitioner submits that he is the absolute owner of the subject property, vide settlement deed executed by his mother on 27.06.2020. In order to measure the boundaries of the petitioner's property, the petitioner gave a representation to the respondents 1 and 2 and the same is still pending. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsels on the either side and perused the records.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, a 2/5

mandamus is issued to the respondents1 and 2, to conduct survey of the petition mentioned property. The petitioner shall submit all the relevant records to show his title to the property and the respondents shall, after issuing notice to the adjacent land owners and interested parties, hold an enquiry and thereafter, proceed to pass orders either surveying and subdividing the property or rejecting the request. In the case of a rejection, a speaking order shall be passed. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
