Side) JUDGEMENT This appeal has been preferred against the judgement of the Additional District-cum-Sessions Court, Fast Track No.IV, Chennai, passed in S.C.No.117 of 2001, dated 30.09.

2002, in and by which, the appellant / accused was convicted for offence under Section 307 IPC and sentenced to undergo 7 years rigorous imprisonment and to pay a fine of Rs.1,000/-, in default, six months sentence and he was also convicted for the offence under Section 341 IPC, to pay a fine of Rs.500/-, in default, one month imprisonment.

2. The learned counsel for the appellant would submit that the appellant had already undergone the sentence imposed by the Trial Court and he was released from jail.

respondent, on instructions, from the Sub Inspector of Police, E4, Abiramapuram Police Station, Chennai, submitted that the accused had already undergone the sentence imposed by the trial Court.

4. Recording the submission of both sides, this Criminal Appeal is dismissed.
