Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider and pass order within a limited time frame, the appeal dated 07.10.2017 against the irregular and illegal appointment of Anganwadi Worker in Krishnapuram Center, Kanthili Block, Tiruppathur Taluk, Vellore District in the light of G.O.Ms.No.110, Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme (S.W.7) Department, dated 14.05.2012 and appoint the petitioner as Anganwadi Worker in the Krishnapuram Center. O R D E R

The case of the petitioner is that the appeal filed by him before the first respondent challenging the appointment of one Tmt.Sathya as Anganwadi worker in Krishnapuram Centre on the ground that the petitioner is better placed than her, has not been disposed of by the first respondent. Hence he has come with this writ petition for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal within a specified time frame. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Mr.R.S.Selvam, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on the appeal dated 07.10.2017 made by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
