O R D E R

This Contempt petition is filed to punish the respondent for wilfully and deliberately violating the order of this Hon'ble Court dated 21.07.2023 in W.P.No.21574 of 2023.

2.The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondent filed a Compliance Memo wherein it was stated as follows: "15.I respectfully submit that the defaulter society has now drawn a Demand Draft bearing No.-442356 dated 07.03.2024 from THE ERODE DISTRICT CENTRAL CO-OP, BANK LTD, MODAKURUCHI BRANCH MANI ROAD, MODAKURUCHI - 638 104 Bank in favour of 'Assistant Commissioner of Labour Salem' to the tune of Rs.11,11,635/- towards the full settlement of the amount due to the contempt petitioner as ordered by the Assistant Commissioner of Labour, Salem."

3.Though the Demand Draft was said to be drawn in favour of the Assistant Commissioner of Labour, on the directions of this Court the Demand Draft for the aforesaid amount was re-drawn in favour of the 2/4

petitioner and handed over directly to him.

4.As the order dated 21.07.2023 has been complied with, the respondents 1 and 2 undertook to remove the seal from the premises of the 3rd respondent by the evening itself.

5.In view of the same, this Contempt Petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
