This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police to register FIR as against the accused in pursuance to the order dated 02.03.2024 passed in Crl.M.P.No.12451 of 2024, on the file of the learned XIII Metropolitan Magistrate at Egmore and investigate the case in accordance with law.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that pending this petition, FIR was registered against the accused in Crime No.23 of 2025 on 08.01.2025 and hence, nothing survives in this petition for adjudication. 2/4
