2. It is now represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that subsequent to the impugned charge memo, enquiry was conducted and the enquiry was also completed on 21.09.2020. However, he would submit that till date, no final orders have been passed by the disciplinary authority, namely the respondent. Since the enquiry proceedings have already been completed in the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner, at this stage, this court cannot interfere with the charge memo, which is dated 02.08.2017. The only limited relief that can be granted is to direct the respondent to pass final orders within a time to be fixed by this court.
3. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, by directing the respondent to pass final orders, based on the enquiry report, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petitions are closed. 07.12.2022 Asr Index : Yes/No Speaking order/Non speaking order To 1.The District Collector Villupuram 2.The Government Pleader High Court, Madras Page 2/3
