Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct respondents 1 to 4 herein to regularize the service of the petitioners by conferring permanent status of service to the respective individuals by placing them on regular pay scale and grade.

The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is to direct respondents 1 to 4 to regularize the service of the petitioners by conferring permanent status of service to the respective individuals by placing them on regular pay scale and grade.
2. It is the case of the petitioners that they are working as casual workers under the service of the respondents in all ground handling services. The petitioners were all engaged in service between the years 1992 - 1996. Even after completion of several years, the services were not regularized and the petitioners made representations right from the year 2016 onwards. However, till date the said representations were not considered. Therefore, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that it would be suffice to issue direction to the respondents to dispose of the representations dated 23.05.2018 and 04.06.2018 in accordance with law.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, I am inclined to issue direction to the respondents to dispose of the representations dated 04.06.2018, if not disposed already within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed. No costs.
