JUDGMENT
(Judgment of the Court was pronounced by T.RAJA, J.) This Writ Appeal has been directed against the impugned order dated 16.10.2012 passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court in W.P.No.37563/2007 dismissing the writ petition while confirming the order dated 31.05.2007 passed by the Commissioner of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, thereby setting aside the order dated 26.12.1990 passed in O.A.No.11/1986, in and by which the Commissioner has passed an order of remand.

Although the appeal has been pending from 2012, no one appeared on behalf of the appellants. Even on the last date of hearing i.e. on 23.06.2021, finding no one to appear for the appellants, this Court directed the Registry to list this matter today, under the caption, ''for dismissal''. Even today i.e. on 05.07.2021 also when the matter was called, except the Counsel for the respondents 1 and 2- HR& CE Department and the Counsel for the respondents 3, 5, 8 to 11, no one appeared for the appellants which shows that the appellants are not interested in prosecuting the matter further.
