The petitioner has filed this writ petition praying for the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of his representation dated 17.01.2014.
2. Admittedly, the petitioner had made a representation dated 17.01.2014 addressed to respondents 1 and 2, inter alia stating that action will have to be initiated against persons who prevent the water being taken to the agricultural lands by encroaching upon Odai Channel, by putting up the hut.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that although he had made a representation dated 17.01.2014 addressed to the respondents, no https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
action has been taken in the subject matter in issue sofar.
4. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition viz., for passing of an order by this Court in directing the 1st respondent to consider his representation dated 17.01.2014, at this stage, this Court, based on the Equity, Fair Play and Good Conscience, directs the 1st respondent to look into the representation of the petitioner dated 17.01.2014 in fair, just and objective fashion and to pass a reasoned speaking order, ascribing necessary reasons there for, of course, after providing enough opportunity to the petitioner, by adhering to the principles of natural justice and dispose of the said representation, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above observations and direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
