The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to expedite the investigation and to file the charge sheet in Crime No.619 of 2014.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has lodged a complaint with the respondent police as against one Riae Ahmed and others and the same was registered in Crime No.619 of 2014. Though the said complaint was registered as early as in the year 2014, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.
3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent police to investigate the case in Crime No.619 of 2014 pending on his file and file a final https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
report, if not already filed, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
