The instant Writ Petition is filed challenging the order passed by the 1st respondent dated 03.01.2020, thereby rejecting the candidature of the petitioner for the post of Computer Instructor Grade-I (Post Graduate Cadre) 2018-19.
2. The petitioner is qualified with SSLC, HSLC, Diploma in Computer Engineering, Bachelor of Computer Application, Masters in Computer Application and B.Ed. While being so, the 1st respondent issued the notification dated 01.03.2019 thereby inviting application to fill up the 2/6
vacancy post of Computer Instructor Grade-I (Post Graduate Cadre) 201819.
3. The petitioner applied for the said post and had written the said examination. In the written examination, the petitioner secured 72.80 marks out of 150. The 1st respondent published the selection list in which the petitioner was also short listed for verification of certificates through uploading online. Immediately, the petitioner had uploaded the certificates in the portal of the 2nd respondent. However, the petitioner did not upload her UG degree viz., BCA. Therefore, the candidature of the petitioner itself was rejected on the ground that the petitioner failed to upload her UG degree.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that since the petitioner had undergone Diploma in Computer Engineering, she was permitted to join in the 2nd year of BCA. Thereafter, she completed her masters degree i.e. MCA. Therefore, she had uploaded only the Diploma certificate and she was not able to upload her UG degree viz., BCA in the portal.

5. A perusal of the counter affidavit and the submission made by the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the Teachers Recruitment Board and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Department of School Education, would reveal that though the petitioner possessed Diploma in Computer Engineering, BCA and MCA, along with B.Ed., the petitioner failed to upload her UG degree and mark sheet as prescribed by the Teachers Recruitment Board in the PDF format. Therefore, the candidature of the petitioner itself was rejected.
6. Now, the entire selection process has been over and all the posts have been filled and therefore, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in rejecting the candidature of the petitioner to the post of Computer Instructor Grade-I (Post Graduate Cadre) 2018-19. Hence, the writ petition is devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed.
7. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, the connected Writ Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 4/6
