Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner representation dated 21.10.2020 to provide Patta for the land to an extent of 924 Sq.ft comprised in Survey No.42 situated at Vadakeeranur Village, Sankarapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District within a stipulated period that may be fixed by this Court.

The petitioner seeks assignment of some property which he says that he is in possession. In this regard, he made a representation dated 21.10.2020 to the respondent, to issue Patta in his name.

2.Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the sole respondent, made a statement on instructions that necessary enquiry has been conducted by the Tashildar and a final decision will be made within a period of 4 weeks. 3.The said statement of the learned Additional Government Pleader is recorded.
