This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.2/2015 pending on the file of the first respondent police.

2. The learned Public Prosecutor (Pondicherry) submitted that after completion of investigation the case was closed as 'further action dropped' in the year 2018. Thereafter, the closure report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Puducherry. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3.In view of the above submission made by the learned Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition and hence, the same is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
