ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to file final report in Crime No.449 of 2014 dated 30.12.2014 pending on his file.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has lodged a complaint with the second respondent police as against one Nandaniel and five others and the same was registered in Crime No.449 of 2014. Though the said complaint was registered as early as in the year 2014, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.449 of 2014 pending on his file and file a final report, if not already filed, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
