Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus calling for the records in connection with the Detention Order BDFGISSV No.57/2015 dated 07.07.2015 passed by the second respondent under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondent to produce the petitioner's son, Dhinesh, S/o Arumugam, the detenu, now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai-600 066 before this Court and set the petitioner's son, Dhinesh, S/o Arumugam, aged about 23 years, the detenu herein at liberty.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) The petitioner, who is the mother of the detenu, Dhinesh, Son of Arumugam, aged 23 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the second https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent dated 07.07.2015 against her son branding him as a "Goonda" under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the son of the petitioner dated 07.07.2015 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. Rt No.5386, Home, Prohibition & Excise (X) Department, dated 19.08.2015 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed as the same has become infructuous.
