PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondents to take further action of the petitioners complaint dated 14.10.2019.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to take further action of the petitioners complaint dated 14.10.2019.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners have received an unanimous letter, in which, it is stated that one K. Krishnan has obtained a sum of Rs.50,00,00,000/- (Fifty Crores only) from the transaction of Gudkha and hence the petitioners have lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 14.10.2019. So far, no action has been taken on the said complaint.

4. Per contra, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents has submitted that after receipt of the petitioners' complaint dated 14.10.2019, CSR.No.110 of 2020 was issued, a preliminary enquiry was conducted and nobody has come forward to give clue as to who has sent such an unanimous letter. He further submitted that since there is no glue with regard to the person who has sent such unanimous letter, the said complaint was closed on 25.02.2020 by informing the petitioners that if they get any information with regard to the person who has sent an unanimous letter, they can inform to the police and hence he requests to close this petition.

5. Recording the abovesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. The second respondent is directed to send intimation to the petitioners with regard to the closure of their complaint by RPAD within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
