ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 04.04.2012 passed by the second respondent directing the petitioner to vacate the "B1" Staff Quarters (Reader's Quarters).

2. Heard Mr.D.Mohammed Asan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.L.P.Shanmuga Sundaram, learned standing counsel for the respondents.

3. Admittedly, the petitioner is an Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry employed with the respondent university.

4. Today, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned standing counsel for the respondents that the Registrar of university has addressed a letter dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

03.02.2020 to the standing counsel for the respondents that the respondents have decided not to disturb the possession of the petitioner over the aforementioned staff quarters. The said letter dated 03.02.2020 has been taken on record.

5. Recording the submissions made by the learned standing counsel for the respondents as well as after recording the aforementioned letter dated 03.02.2020, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
