This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to take further action towards the petitioner complaint dated 07.05.2018.

2. No representation for the petitioner. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that after receipt of the petitioner's complaint, CSR.No.514 of 2018 was issued and after conducting preliminary enquiry, the said complaint was closed on 20.10.2018.

3. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. The respondent is directed to send an intimation to the petitioner by RPAD within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order with regard to the closure of the petitioner's complaint. It is open to the petitioner to avail any other remedy which is available under the law.
