Prayer:- Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st to 4th respondents to conduct a detailed enquiry, against the complaints arising out of Gangman Post, TANGEDCO and to take appropriate action against the said corrupt officials, by considering the complaint dated 26.12.2019. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to conduct an enquiry against the complaints arising out of Gangman Post, TANGEDCO dated 26.12.2019 and to take appropriate action against the said corrupt officials. 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the officials of the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation involved in a huge scam in the post of Gangman, vide notification dated 06.03.2019 called for the application from the General Public. The TANGEDCO has conducted the selection process and in the selection process 80% of candidates were found unfit out of 100% and the same was published in various news papers. Further, the said notification was objected by various associations by filing Writ Petition in W.P.No.10068 of 2019, in which this Court had granted an interim stay on 24.04.2019. Hence, the petitioner has given a complaint on 26.12.2019 to the respondents 1 to 4 to conduct a detailed enquiry and to take appropriate action against the said corrupt officials.
3.M/s.Chandrakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the concerned authority to consider the complaint of the petitioner dated 26.12.2019.
4.The learned Special Public Prosecutor for CBI Cases appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the complaint of the petitioner dated 26.12.2019 has been transferred to the file of the Tamil Nadu Vigilance and Anti 2/4
Corruption, Chennai on 28.01.2020 for taking necessary course of action.
5.Hence, the Tamil Nadu Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Chennai, is directed to consider the complaint of the petitioner dated 26.12.2019 and conducted an enqiury as expeditiously as possible.
6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
