Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the second respondent to investigate the matter himself or transfer the investigation to some other investigation officer if any to be made with the petitioner with regard to the case in Crime No.1672 of 2010.

ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the second respondent / Superintendent of Police to investigate the case in Crime No.1672 of 2010 on the file of the first respondent police station either by himself or to transfer the same to any other investigation officer.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, submitted that no such case as Crime No.1672 of 2010 was registered before the first respondent police station. In fact, in the year 2010, only 815 cases were registered. The first respondent / Inspector of Police, Mohanur Police Station has also filed a memo to that effect.

3. In such a view of the matter, recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) as well as the memo filed by the first respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
